Luana Boutilier (1937-2002)

Artist, Luana Boutilier died Good Friday, March 29, 2002 at age 64 from a progressive brain disorder.

Luana left behind a legacy of fine artwork that spanned over thirty years. She exhibited paintings, etchings, and drawings in galleries and shows, and helped organize cooperative art groups. She drew rich insights from her Irish and Cherokee Indian heritage, and her love of culture, music, and history. Luana graduated from Whittier College (’59) and did advanced art and academic studies in Fresno, Racine, Berkeley, and Los Angeles.

Luana Boutilier's dedicated web site has disappeared, but her work can be found at many online galleries.
